  1. I love all the bright colors and the tile work. So different than here in the USA, where most landlords wont let you paint your own colors, and do such specialty work, like tile. One of our homes that we had, we decorated with Spanish style furniture and carried a lot of that theme throughout the house. I remember traveling to Mexico and loading up with things and the fact that our fireplace was made of real adobe. Your doing well and you have great taste.

  2. I love the colors in your new place and hope this all works out for you. With your talented ways of interior decorating, you will have this looking like a model home. Don't overdo yourself. Just returned from 4 days @ Disneyland and that about did me in. Two days at the park with my sons family. I was shocked to see how it has grown over the years. Maryanne, Megan and I drove down and Sean and his family came up from San Diego and stayed for a couple of days. It was nice. Keep in touch.

  3. Hi Larry, long time no speak! Looks like you are well settled in Mexico. Your apartment looks very nice, you've done a really good job. Hope we will have the opportunity to visit you some day. Love from Norway, Helene, Yngve & Liv.

  4. Your two hour trip with Richard sounds harrowing but the end result great. The pictures are lovely. When the weather is better, take Elvis with you and enjoy the sights and stay safe.

  5. I am worn out just reading about the trials and tribulations of life in Mexico. I know I would never make it but then again, I have not ever done the traveling scene as much as you have. It all sounds very chaotic to me but perhaps that is what makes it exciting living in PV. The whole story about the "Cock" experience had me laughing out loud. Of course just that word implicates something I would not expect to come from you. I agree, I would never attend any of those type things and feel the same about the "bull fights". Being the animal lover that I am, it would make me ill for sure. Spring is arriving here fast and winter for the most part was a cinch. Love your posts.

  7. Hilarious stuff, Lary. I really enjoyed the pictures from LA. I haven't been there for so long and has it EVER changed. Is that building Frank Gehry? Certainly looks like his work.

  8. Always enjoy the many pictures and the stories you tell about life in Mexico. We are experiencing hot weather at this time after a winter of horrendous rain. They are still skiing at Lake Tahoe on top of 7 ft. of remaining snow. Weird!!! I'm sure you apt. is the best looking on the block.

  9. Hi Larry! Well..Angie finally retired. A month ago. Also quite the Festival of Arts three weeks ago as they wanted to give her a poor work schedule. Jackie passed a year and a half ago. Time flies. Still working on the house but getting much closer. Going to have the counters put in soon. Still working in general but hopefully this will be my last summer doing it. Miss seeing you on your yearly visit. Perhaps next time. Sounds like you are doing well! C & A

    1. Thank you Anonymous. I'm devestated on the news of his death. Larry and I went all the way through school together from Elementary through High School. We were not related. I met the girl I finally married at a party Larry was having at his family home. He was my Best Man. We use to visit whenever we made a trip to Southern Ca. from Northern Ca. He was always wanting me to visit him in Mexico, and the thought never left me. A long time friend and will miss him forever.
